Las Vegas Travel Guide
McCarran Airport is the large international airport in Las Vegas USA. Unlike other major airports, it has its own casino facilities!
McCarran has two terminals. Terminal 1 is the main terminal and handles most domestic flights. Terminal 2 is used for all international flights and a few domestic ones.
McCarran International Airport is located south of Las Vegas USA and conveniently near the Las Vegas Strip. Consequently, it is quite inexpensive to travel by cab from the airport to most Vegas hotels (i.e. $15 - $25).
There is also a minibus service that carries passengers between the airport and the major hotel casinos on the Strip. Buses depart every 15 or 20 minutes and tickets cost around $6.50 per passenger.
The local transit authority also operates city buses between the airport and the strip but they are inconvenient for passengers with baggage.
